Hi everyone!

Welcome to my blog.  My name is Elyse Marie Foster and I am a lifestyle photographer, wife, stay at home mama and artist.  I have a BA in Fine Arts with a concentration in digital arts and photography.  About 10 years ago I fell in love with photography and it has changed the way I look at the world.  I have shot beautiful landscapes to those intimate moments we share with our loved ones and for the past 7 years, I have been a freelance photographer with the pleasure of being hired by businesses, families, parents to be, and brides.

Before I go any further I wanted you to know a little bit more about who I am and why I absolutely LOVE what I do,

and most days you can find me hanging with my mini-me (my 1-year-old) and documenting our life.

I am a born and raised Rhode Islander and I am so inspired by the historical architecture, and the stunning landscapes that my area brings to my photographs.   There are so many beautiful locations in such a small area of where I live, it is never hard to find something or someone to photograph.  When I am not shooting, you can find me enjoying a cocktail with my closest girlfriends, finger painting with my daughter, or exploring the outdoors with my family.

My style is mostly natural light lifestyle photography, for example, major life milestone stones like weddings, maternity, newborns and family portraiture.  After a little over a year of hiatus, to concentrate on my growing family of my own, I am back full time along with a few team members ready to take your photograph.   It has been a long journey from part-time hustle to full time working photographer, and I am super excited to have you check out my work and join me in this blog as an outlet to share some of my favorite shoots, as I way to answer some of my frequently asked questions, and what to expect from a session with me.

As some of my previous clients know some of my favorite work is with families.  I truly feel that it is a blessing to have the opportunity to capture moments of you and your children.  Below are just a few snippets of myself, my husband Daniel, and my sweet baby girl Tenzing. I am looking forward to meeting you and your loved ones...

but for now... remember to look up at the camera and smile.

I love adding props to my sessions, like this vintage suitcase.

Having fun during a session is most important.
