                                                                 One month away from saying "I Do"   

 

  

  Just one month from the day Brenna and Tom say "I do" we had the most lovely walk through the woods. One of the first things I ask couples before we book their engagement session is if they have a location that really plays a role in their love story. And I love love love when my couples have a location in mind, especially if it is somewhere I haven't been before. Venturing out to Simons Pond, a place where Brenna and Tom feel comfortable and at home set the perfect backdrop for our session together.  It really is a lovely place to hike, explore, and fish! And when asking Brenna and Tom why this place was so special to them, it was because it is their quiet place to go, be together and fish together. What I love about this session was that they totally embraced the idea of bringing along props and objects that tell their story. And most importantly they brought along their little pup named Cheddar.

 

Yes, I said Cheddar... isn't that the cutest name EVER? 

 

 

   I truly enjoyed our walk through the woods on such a beautiful afternoon, it was a great opportunity for all of us to get to know each other.  I loved hearing about their life together, their engagement story, and their dream wedding.   It is so important for me to make sure I get to know my future brides and grooms on a more personal level before their big day.... because it is one of the most important days of their lives together; I want to make sure that do my best to truly captivate their individual personalities in hope translate their love for one another in the photographs that I take.  Below are just a few photos from our session together and I can not wait to capture their wedding day soon...
